Learning Cohorts
Climate Cohort
This is a paid educational program for farmers curious about climate-smart agriculture.
Agriculture is an essential strategy for mitigation and adaptation to the climate crisis. It contributes to community wellness, biodiversity, soil health, and air quality. While climate organizing in the Gulf South is dynamic and active, farmers are underrepresented both in proposing solutions and calling for change.
Our Climate-Smart Farmer Cohort seeks to bridge these gaps by bringing farmers from Louisiana’s diverse regions together to learn and teach about climate and agriculture with the goal of becoming better able to speak on the issue to policymakers and their communities.
We are not taking applications at this time.
